MEET YOUR TEACHERS
ADAM BORELAND (Full Program)
Adam Boreland has been a part of the professional ballet world for over 15 years. Proud first student of Sell’s Broadway Dance Company. Adam trained at San Francisco Ballet School & Orlando Ballet School. He held professional contracts at Texas Ballet Theater and Orlando Ballet, along with guesting around the United States.
He has been blessed with dancing principal roles in ballet such as Swan Lake, Cinderella, Val Caniparoli’s Lambarena, Glenn Tetley’s Voluntaries, The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Jorden Morris Productions Moulin Rouge & Peter Pan. Adam was also recently on the NBC show “Dancing with Myself” with Shakira, Liza Koshy, & Nick Jonas.

VLADIMIR STADNIK (Week 1): Professor Stadnik began his training at the Vaganova Academy. After finishing his studies, he became a soloist with the State Theatre Opera and Ballet, touring throughout the Soviet Union, Europe, and the USA. He holds a Bachelors degree in the Methodology of Classical Ballet at the University of Culture in St. Petersburg and a Masters degree as Ballet Master/Choreography in the Choreographic department of the State University of St. Petersburg. After retiring from the stage, he taught in Switzerland, Finland, France, Italy, USA, and Germany. He is a regular teacher at the American Academy of Ballet Summer Intensive.
JENNIFER GAGE: Ms. Jennifer has 25 years’ experience teaching all levels of ballet, contemporary, pointe, and jazz. As a teacher, Ms. Jennifer strives to give her students an age-appropriate and level-appropriate class, emphasizing the importance of placement, technique, and detail in order to prevent injury and help our dancers achieve a sustainable relationship with dance. She currently teaches the High Intermediate and Advanced Ballet levels at KDA.
CAROLYN FEHER: Ms Carolyn’s values of respect, support, and kindness for every dancer make KDA a studio unlike any other. Her knowledge, experience, caring, and compassion help dancers work safely to reach their full potential and beyond.

The day begins with a warmup class, followed by technique class, rehearsal, and specialty classes such as partnering, lyrical, contemporary, and pointe.

PERFORMANCE
STUDENT ENSEMBLE
Summer Intensive students make up the ensemble for Kailua Dance Theatre’s annual September Performance. Dancers learn repertoire during the intensive, followed by pickup rehearsals in August and September.

This is a unique and valuable opportunity to perform original work choreographed by our incredible team of guest teachers, as well as the chance to experience a professional dance environment!

TUITION
TUITION RATES
FULL PROGRAM: $2600 ($2400 current KDA student)
2 WEEKS: $1950 ($1800 current KDA student(
1 WEEK: $1075 (975 current KDA student)
TUITION DEPOSIT: A 50% tuition deposit is required to reserve a dancer’s spot in the KDA Summer Intensive. A registration form alone will not hold a dancer’s place.

- World class instruction by our incredible guest teachers
- All classes and rehearsals for the duration of the summer intensive
- All pickup rehearsals in August and September
- All costume rentals, theater, and production costs
TUITION DISCOUNTS
- Current KDA Student: Students enrolled in the full 2025-2026 school year receive a discounted tuition rate
- Early Bird Tuition: Tuition paid in full before March 15, 2026 receives a 15% discount (can be combined with current KDA student discounted tuition rates)
