What Class Should I Register My Child For?
KEIKI BALLET I (age 3-5) Students who are 3 years old as of August 1, 2024 may register for Keiki Ballet I. Younger students are welcome and encouraged to sign up for our new child/caregiver class, Dance With Me!
KEIKI BALLET IA (age 4-6): Students who are in Pre-K for the 2024-2025 school year with 1 year previous experience OR students who are in Kindergarten for the 2024-2025 school year who are new to ballet should register for Keiki Ballet IA.
KEIKI BALLET II (Gr K-1): Students who are in Kindergarten for the 2024-2025 school year with a minimum of 1 year previous experience OR students who are in 1st Grade for the 2024-2025 school year who are new to ballet should register for Keiki Ballet II.
BALLET I (Gr 1-2): Students who are in 1st Grade for the 2024-2025 school year with a minimum of 1 year training* OR students who are in 2nd Grade for the 2024-2025 school year who are new to ballet* should register for Ballet I.
BALLET IA (Gr 2-3): Student who are in 2nd Grade for the 2024-2024 school with a minimum of 1 year training* OR students who are in 3rd Grade for the 2024-2025 school year who are new to ballet* should register for Ballet IA.
INTERMEDIATE AND ADVANCED BALLET TECHNIQUE: For placement into our Intermediate Levels (Ballet II, IIA, III, IIIA, IV) or Advanced (IVA), please submit a video audition for assessment and placement into our program. Videos should be emailed to info@kailuadanceacademy.com.
*Please note that dancers’ training must have taken place within the previous school year to place into Ballet I and IA.
